Took my daughter as a surprise to get the mermaid braids from Chantelle and a haircut for myself whilst we were on holidays in port Douglas. The salon itself is beautiful and Chantelle was so welcoming and friendly. My daughter’s braids turned out amazing and I loved my haircut. Highly recommend, we absolutely loved our experience.

I visited Chantel at Aloula for the first time for a spray tan for my wedding two weeks ago. I have had many spray tans in my time, I used to get them weekly but never in my life have I had one as good as this. It was the best colour, it didn’t smell and there were zero streaks! She even used a powder on top to stop any sweating the far north heat usually causes. Almost two weeks later my skin still looks even and I don’t have that awful patchiness of when a tan washes off. Not to mention Chantel is a really lovely person. 1000/10 recommend.

Chantel at Aloula was absolutely fantastic! My seven-year-old daughter was over the moon with her festival braids, and they truly were the highlight of her trip, they look amazing! Chantel was so wonderful. She did mermaid braids for my daughter while we were on holiday in Port Douglas and it was an all round lovely experience. My daughter loves the braids. Chantel also went the extra mile for our friend's daughter (who was unwell) as well which was so incredibly kind. I can't recommend Aloula enough. We'll be back next time.
